VOTING ELIGIBILITY

In order to register to vote, you must be a U. S. citizen AND 18 years of age by the day of the election.

Your registration is active unless you move out of your precinct or fail to vote at least once in four consecutive years. If you move within the city, you must file a new voter registration at least 30 days before the books close prior to an election. Failure to do this promptly may result in ineligibility to vote.
