Focus on Longmont Strategic Direction on Education: Promote partnerships between public and private sectors that enhance educational opportunities from birth through college and encourage life-long learning. In other words, outside of the formal academic educational institutions (including St. Vrain Valley School District, community colleges and universities, etc...), what can the community do to help make formal education relevant for all residents in Longmont so that they can be competitors in our global economy, successful learners and community contributors throughout their entire lives.
