Enterprise Technology Services - Operations is
responsible for: the operation of the City's Iseries mainframe computer; hardware
and software support to approximately 850 networked personal computers 44 network servers; and wide area network connectivity
between City facilities. The production Iseries system processes most of the financial information flow
of the City. Additional Iseries servers support the e-mail system and the City's website.
Enterprise
Technology Services - Applications is responsible for programming systems
analysis and design; data integration and the development and maintenance
of a citywide Geographic Information System (GIS), including maintenance and
update of the City's basemap and basemap Layers, geodatabase and metadata
development, web based mapping development, technical support, aerial photography
maintenance and GIS application development.
