About the Photo collection:
The Longmont Museum holds over 12,000 photographs of Longmont and the surrounding area, from the 1860s to the present. This collection is made possible by the many people who have donated photographs since the Museum began collecting in 1936.

Collection highlights:

• 800 photos from the early 1900s by Longmont photographer Charles W. Boynton
• Photographs of Main Street in Longmont from 1872 to the 1970s.
• The Great Western Sugar factory
• Agriculture – plowing, planting, and harvesting crops in the St. Vrain Valley

Prints are printed on archival quality paper with archival ink.

Digital files
Standard scan $15 + tax
Custom scan $25 + tax

Standard scans are at least 600 dpi, and files are saved to CDs as .tif format. Due to file sizes, it is usually not possible to email high-resolution image files. We do use the filesharing program Dropbox to share large files.

Shipping & Handling
CDs, 8x10 prints $5
11x14 prints $7

We do not recommend mailing larger size prints.
