How Can I Donate Artifacts or Documents to the Museum?

If you have an object that you would like to be considered for donation, please call 303-651-8374 and ask to speak to Cathey Dunn, Curator of Collections. If you have a photograph or a document that you would like to be considered for donation, please call 303 651-8374 and ask to speak to Erik Mason, Curator of Research and Information.

Please call first to discuss the donation and then make an appointment to bring the object or photograph to the Longmont Museum. The Longmont Museum accepts objects, photographs and documents that have significance to Longmont and the Saint Vrain Valley. Objects, photographs and documents may be old, or they can be contemporary.

The Museum collects to both preserve for future generations, and to exhibit. While the Museum is committed to regular displays from our collections, like most museums we cannot display more than a small fraction of our collection at any one time. No donations will be accepted with conditions.
