Ralph Price Permits Go On Sale Monday, April 2
Annual fishing permits for Ralph Price Reservoir go on sale at 8 am on Monday, April 2. The cost is $20 for Longmont and Lyons water utility customers and $30 for others. Anglers must present their 2012-13 state fishing license at the time of purchase, and there is a maximum purchase of four permits per person per day. Sale locations are City Clerk’s Office, 350 Kimbark Street (cash or check); Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Avenue (cash, check or credit card); and Lyons Town Hall, 432 5th Avenue, Lyons (cash or check). Share Your Ideas for the Mall
The public is invited to “Imagine: Twin Peaks Mall,” a community forum hosted by mall owner NewMark Merrill, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 4, in the former JC Penney store at the mall, 1250 S. Hover Street. Learn about NewMark Merrill, find out about the redevelopment process, ask questions and share your ideas. For more information email imagine@twinpeaksmall.com.

Coffee With Council is This Saturday
Longmont City Council is hosting an informal chat over coffee from 9 to 10 am this Saturday, March 31, at The Brewing Market, 1520 S. Hover Road. At Coffee with Council, you can talk with two council members on any topic. Mayor Dennis Coombs and Council Member Katie Witt are scheduled to attend. Businesses Open During Downtown Alley Work
The first phase of the Downtown Alley Improvement Project is underway between 4th and 5th avenues on the east side of Main Street. During construction, the alley and the parking lot are closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic, but work should be completed by the first week in May. During construction, all downtown businesses are open, although you may need to use the front entrances on Main Street. For update visit www.downtownlongmont.com.

Free Pharmaceutical Drop Off Day on April 28
Don’t flush medication down the sink or toilet. Recent studies have shown that it can pass through the treatment plant and enter the river. Bring all your unused medication to Longmont United Hospital (1950 Mountain View Ave) for this one day event on April 28, 2012 during the hours of 8 am to 2 pm. All medications will be accepted.
