Downtown Longmont Concert Series Tonight at 6:30 pm
The Downtown Summer Concert Series features the Delta Sonics and food by the Dickens Tavern. Gates open at 6:30 pm

Help the Library Win $5,000
LEGO DUPLO and the Association for Library Services to Children are sponsoring a grant to celebrate library story times. The library with the most nominations will receive $5,000, and the top 200 libraries will receive a special LEGO DUPLO literacy learning kit. To nominate the Longmont Public Library visit www.readbuildplay.com. You can vote every day through September.

Night Skydive Operations at Vance Brand
Night time skydiving operations will be taking place on Friday, July 6, 2012, from one hour past official sunset time until approximately 11:30 p.m. at Vance Brand Municipal Airport. Night skydiving jumps are a requirement for participants to receive full certification by the United States Parachute Association and the Federal Aviation Administration as a professional skydiver. Longmont Telecommunications Public Meetings
Longmont Power & Communications will hold two public information meetings about the City’s broadband infrastructure and possible uses. The first session, for Longmont residents, will be on Monday, July 16, from 5:30 to 7 pm. The second, for Longmont businesses, will be on Friday, July 20, from 3:30 to 5 pm. Both meetings will take place at the Longmont City Council Chambers, 350 Kimbark Street, and everyone is invited to attend either or both meetings. Missing Trail Connections Meeting
The City of Longmont will host a public meeting from 6 to 7:30 pm on Thursday, July 12, at the Development Services Center, 385 Kimbark Street, to discuss missing trail and walkway connections throughout the city. Staff will discuss known gaps in our trail and sidewalk system and ask for public input on additional missing links.
