AUGUST 11, 2011 - Beginning Monday, August 29, 2011, all toilets, rebate forms and accompanying documentation for toilet rebates will no longer be accepted at 1251 South Bowen Street, instead the toilet, application and corresponding paperwork will need to be submitted to the City of Longmont’s Waste Diversion Center (formerly known as the Recycle Center) at 140 Martin Street. Just drive up to the window attendant and they will process your paperwork and direct you to the appropriate drop off bin.
The change in toilet rebate location offers customers an extra weekend day to rebate toilets and is more centrally located within the city. In addition, you can also bring other recyclables that don’t fit or are not accepted in your curbside recycling container.
The hours of operation at the Waste Diversion Center are:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Thursday, Friday and Saturday – 8:30 am to 5:45 pm
Closed on Sundays and Holidays
