Community Invited to MLK Celebration at Civic Center
JANUARY 5, 2011 - The Longmont community is invited to help celebrate the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr. on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 4 pm at the Longmont Civic Center, 350 Kimbark St. "The Dream Lives On - Longmont Honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr." is hosted by Mayor Bryan L. Baum and features Glenda Robinson & The African American Heritage Voices of Second Baptist Community Church who will provide remembrances and musical tributes to Dr. King and a celebration of diversity in the Longmont community.
The event will be carried live by The Longmont Channel 8 on Comcast cable and replayed throughout January. For more information call 303-651-8444.
