Helicopter to Cause Noise at Golf Courses

SEPTEMBER 28, 2012 - Residents adjacent to the golf courses will experience considerable noise from the low flying aircraft on Wednesday, October 3 between 10 am and noon. Longmont Golf Services has contracted with Colorado Aerial Photography to photograph each hole at Sunset and Twin Peaks golf courses. The photos will be taken from a helicopter flying at low altitude. Noise in any one area should last only a few minutes, weather permitting.
