City of Longmont Seeking Requests for Proposals for 2013 Human Service Agency Funding
MAY 8, 2012 - The City of Longmont is currently accepting applications from non-profit, non-sectarian human service agencies interested in receiving 2013 City of Longmont funding.
To be eligible to apply, agencies must have a 501(c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service; must primarily serve low and moderate-income Longmont residents; and must provide services in one or more of the following target areas:

Stabilizing individuals and families by helping them meet basic needs

Helping residents access resources
-
Strengthening children, youth and families
-
Supporting self-sufficiency and independence for adults
The City of Longmont uses the eCommunity on-line application process administered by Foothills United Way. Interested agencies that are applying for City of Longmont for the first time or are not already registered in the eCommunity system must register through the eCommunity portal, http://www.unitedwayfoothills.org/ecommunity to access the online application. If your agency intends to apply for City of Longmont funds in 2013, you are required to attend the eCommunity workshop on May 17, 2012 at 3 PM at City of Longmont Development Services Center, 385 Kimbark Street (across from the Longmont Public Library). All applicant agencies will need to RSVP to Sally Raney at 303-774-4339 or sally.raney@ci.longmont.co.us. Applications are due electronically by midnight on June 22, 2012. No late proposals will be accepted.
