NOVEMBER 21, 2012 - Longmont city government observes the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 22. The following facilities are CLOSED: Civic Center, Service Center, Library, Senior Center, Museum, Youth Center, Development Services Center, Waste Diversion Center and all Recreation centers (see below for special classes). Thursday trash and recycling will be collected on Friday.
Although the facilities are closed, you can still sneak in a calorie-burning workout before your Thanksgiving celebration. On Thursday, November 22, Centennial Pool will host special holiday facility hours from 7 to 11 am with Indoor Biking at 7:45 and Water Fitness at 9. The St. Vrain Memorial Building will host both Boot Camp and Cardio Sculpt classes from 7 to 8:30 am. Regular admission fees apply. All recreation facilities will have regular business hours on Wednesday and Friday, November 21 and 23. Call 303-651-8406 for more information.
