Child Safety Day on Saturday, March 16

MARCH 8, 2013 -

Who: Longmont Emergency Unit, New York Life, and the Child ID Program

What: Agencies (listed above) will offer a FREE Child Safety Day for residents of City of Longmont, and Boulder County. A variety of activities and child safety seat checks will be available to the participants.

When: Saturday, March 16th, 2013 10am-2pm

Where: Longmont Emergency Unit Station: 663 17th Avenue, Longmont, CO 80501

Why: Prevention is the number one link to helping children avoid serious or death related injuries. Providing another outlet and opportunity for our community to further educate themselves, connect with local agencies, and obtain information is our goal.

Longmont Emergency Unit has provided service to the City of Longmont and Boulder County since 1957. LEU provides assistance to agencies that include dive rescue, rehabilitation support and equipment for long term events, traffic control and a variety of other services to assist the emergency service agencies of Boulder County.
