Community Involvement & Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways citizens can become involved with the Parks systems including participating in public meetings to help develop parks, contributing time and/or money, gifting, or simply enjoying our Parks. You determine which method suits your purposes based on personal choice. Program	Brief Description
Adopt-a-Park	Volunteering time to help maintain and clean a park or greenway.
Gift Catalog	More information to come in March or April.
Volunteering Opportunities	Parks can always use volunteers to help with special events, planting, etc.
Clean-Up Green-Up	This annual event takes place in April. Watch for details to be published in March. Thanks to those who helped make the 2011 campaign a huge success!
Public Meetings	During the design process of new parks, public meetings are held to help guide the development of specific park projects. Check the Parks home page, the Parks Development public process page and the Open Space public meetings page for details.
