Support Services Divison

Support Services is responsible for providing support to the administrative
and operational divisions of the police department. Support Services is comprised
of three sections: Training and Personnel, Information Management, and Property
& Evidence. Each section has distinct functions and responsibilities.
The Training and Personnel Section for public safety (police, fire, Office of Emergency Management, and Longmont Emergency Communication Center) is responsible for the
overall management of personnel and training functions within the department.
This includes management of in-service schedules, marketing and recruitment,
and coordination of hiring processes.
Logistics - other duties such as fleet, facilities, grant oversight, telecommunications management,
coordination of promotional processes, and facility maintenance for public safety (police, fire, Office of Emergency Management, and Longmont Emergency Communication Center) are also a part of the Support Services Division.
