Water Rate Schedule 2009-2013
Metered residential, multifamily, small and large commercial, and irrigation customers are charged a monthly service charge based on meter size plus a volume charge per 1,000 gallons of water used. The typical residential customer has a 5/8-inch meter.

Wastewater Rate Schedule 2009-2013
The rates become effective January 1st of each year.
Metered residential, multifamily, small commercial and large commercial customers pay a monthly service charge plus a volume charge based on 1,000 gallons of water used as follows:

For customers who irrigate, the wastewater charge may be based on average water consumption shown on bills mailed in January, February and March.
Commercial customers may pay a surcharge for excessive pollutants.

Storm Drainage Fees
The City of Longmont collects monthly user charge for operations and services for storm water system. For more information, see the City's Municipal Code, Chapter 14.24.040 (Storm Drainage).
Storm Drainage System Capital Improvement Fee (a plant investment fee) is assessed to each one-family dwelling building permit issued for residential construction and is assessed to each residential building permit issued for the construction of expansion of a unit larger than a one-family dwelling. All funds collected by the charge of plant investment fee are utilized only for capital improvements.
