Players are to provide the following mandatory equipment:

• Helmet
• Mouthguard
• Shoulder Pads
• Elbow Pads
• Hockey Pants
• Shin Guards
• Cup
• Stick
• Hockey Socks
• Hockey Gloves


• Girdle (goes around waist and attaches to socks)
• Suspenders (for hockey pants)

Youth Hockey Skating Skills

A beginning skating class that focuses on instruction on hockey-specific skating skills. May be taken in conjunction with regular learn-to-skate classes or separately. These classes, or learn-to-skate Snow Plow Sam 1/Basic 1, are required for any new hockey players to the Longmont Youth Hockey Program.

Adult Intro Hockey

Truly for the beginner, learn the basics about hockey including equipment requirements, game rules, skating/passing/shooting basics, and positioning. Participants with underdeveloped skating skills are encouraged to co-enroll into an Adult Learn-to-Skate class. After completion players are eligible to advance to the Adult Hockey Skills Class.

18 & up: Tue, 7-8pm

Fee: $75 resident/$93.75 non-resident

Adult Hockey Skills

Receive instruction on all skill aspects of hockey to develop and/or improve your skills. Class consists of 60 min of instruction followed by 30 min of controlled scrimmage so you can practice your skills in a game environment. Fee includes a jersey.

18 & up: Tue, 7:30-9pm

Fee: $125 resident/$156.25 non-resident

Adult 4-on-4 Hockey League <<NEW!!>>>

Players at the low C to D levels are sure to enjoy fast-paced hockey action! Games include three, 15 min stop time periods with 5 min pre-game warm-up and two 3 min intermissions. Ice resurfaced prior to each game. Fee includes jersey. Playoffs March 10.

18 & up: Sundays, 6:15-7:30pm or 7:45-9pm
Dates: Nov 11-Dec 16 and Jan 6-Mar 3 155644

Fee: $250/player or $2,000/team (8 players/team)
