Volunteer Check-in: 7am
Time requested: 7am to approximately 11am
Position:
Course Marshals
Age requirement: without an adult, 16 years and older. Younger ages accepted with accompanying, supervising individual 16 years or older.
Responsibilities: Cheer, provide directional guidance, and Encourage participants in race.
Location: Will be on race course in the vicinity of Centennial Pool and the greater area of Centennial/Clark Park.
What to Bring: Come prepared for Colorado weather (can be hot or cool), wear sun screen and bring water bottle. If you desire hours counted towards community service or volunteer hours, please bring sheet to be signed.
Volunteers Provided: Volunteer/event T-shirt, coffee, bagels.
Look for the Volunteer Check In Sign in the grass area outside Centennial Pool.

Time Requested: 8am - 12pm noon
Positions:
All positions have the following age requirement: 16 without an adult, 14 and younger ages accepted with accompanying, supervising individual 16 years or older.
Water Tables
Responsibilities: Give out water to the runners.
Registration Table
Responsibilities: take day-of registrations, check-in pre-registered participants, give out tee-shirts and packets to race participants.
Course Marshals
Responsibilities: Cheer, provide directional guidance, and Encourage participants in race.
Location: Will be on race course in the vicinity of Altona Middle School and the greater area of south west Longmont.
What to Bring: Come prepared for Colorado weather (can be hot or cool), wear sun screen and bring water bottle. If you desire hours counted towards community service or volunteer hours, please bring sheet to be signed.

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt

Time Requested: 12-5pm
Position:
Face Painters/ In-Water Egg Dispensers (bring a swim suit!)/ Craft Assistants
Age requirements: without an adult, 13 years or older. Younger ages accepted with accompanying, supervising individual 16 years or older.
Responsibilities: varies by positions. Face Painters paint small designs on faces/hands of attending children (paint provided). The In-Water Egg Dispensers are in the pool (generally in the shallow or 3-4 foot deep water) and take the eggs gathered by children and pour them out so they can be retrieved again and again. Craft Assistants help engage children in the arts and crafts available in the multipurpose room overlooking the pool; helping children and refilling supplies as needed.
What to bring: for dry-land work - dress in layers for your comfort. In-water volunteers: please bring a swim suit and towel.

Time Requested: 8:30am-11am
Position:
Registration/Water Station/Finish Line Assistance
Age requirement: without an adult, 15 years and older. Younger ages accepted with accompanying, supervising individual 16 years or older.
Responsibilities: Assist with directional guidance of runner prior to race start during packet pick-up and registration. At a water station: cheer and encourage participants in the race while keeping water cups filled and helping to pick up discarded cups. At the finish line, assist with collecting bib strips from racers after they complete the race in the finish line chute.
What to Bring: Come prepared for Colorado weather (can be hot or cool), wear sun screen and bring water bottle. If you desire hours counted towards community service or volunteer hours, please bring sheet to be signed.
