Longmont Masters Swimming , Longmont Recreation Services

Longmont Recreation Services offers the Longmont Masters Swim Team for adults 18 and older at three different sites throughout the year: Beginning Masters is offered year-round at Centennial Pool on Tuesday/Thursday evenings while Longmont Masters is offered at Sunset Pool each summer before splitting up in the fall/winter/spring with morning practices going to Centennial Pool and noon-hour practices going to the Longmont Recreation Center.A photo of the Longmont Masters Swimming team at the Winter Sprinter Swim Meet in January 2013.

Longmont Masters Swimming is geared toward adults wanting a great coached workout with supportive teammates. Drop-Ins are welcome. Check our practice schedule and just start swimming!


Beginning Masters Swimming

Not quite ready for Masters Swimming? Beginning Masters can get you there! While catering to your individual needs, you will receive stroke work plus a great workout. This on-going program is recommended for adults who are comfortable swimming 200 yards non-stop.

One length of the pool is 25 yards. A down-and-back (one lap) is 50 yards.

Masters Swimming

Improve your skills and stamina while using intervals, drills and distance swimming. This on-going program is recommended for adults who are comfortable swimming at least 1000 yards.

Private Swim Lessons

Private swim lessons may be scheduled, depending on instructor availability. Requests for private lessons may be made directly to an instructor, or by adding to the Private Swim Lesson Wait List. Register online or call (303) 651-8406 to be added to the Private Swim Lesson Waitlist. Wait List requests will be answered in order of request and instructor availability match. Private Fee: $20 resident/ $25 non-resident per ½ hour lesson. Semi-Private Fee: (2+) $30 resident /$37.50 non-resident per ½ hour lesson.
