Tri Peaks Youth Triathlon Club
Longmont Recreation Services offers the Longmont Youth Triathlon Club for Youth in the Spring and Summer to develop swimming, cycling and running abilities while promoting a healthy, active lifestyle - all while having fun! For all youth ages 8 years and older.
2013 Spring Training Times/Dates:
April 8 - May 31, 2013; Kick off meeting Mon, April 8, 4:45pm at Centennial Pool, 1201 Alpine St
Mon - bike focus
Tues - run focus
Fri - swim focus

Be prepared for possible changes in schedule due to weather.
2013 Summer Training Times/Dates:
June 11 - August 2, 2013; Parent meeting Tues, June 4, 6pm at Sunset Pool party room, 1900 Longs Peak Ave; Advanced Try-outs Thurs, June 6, 10am at Sandstone Ranch then 12 noon at Centennial Pool, 1201 Alpine St. Athletes participating in the advanced try-outs will bike and run a set distance. Times will be combined with the fastest times being the advanced group.
Illness: Unless your child is ill for an extended period of time, you do not have
to call to let us know they will be missing a practice. An extended period of time is defined as missing more than one full week of practice. If your child is ill for an extended period please contact Karen by e-mail or call (303) 651-8406 to notify for a possible credit.
Weather: Meet at Centennial Pool regardless of the weather. If it is too wet to ride we can always practice running and/or swimming skills, transitions, dryland/core workouts, or view training videos.
