Curbside Leaf Collection, Annual Programs

Fall Leaf Collection banner

The City offers residents opportunities to

compost their leaves during the fall season:

1) Year-round drop off at the Waste Diversion Center (open six days a week Mon-Sat). Simply drop them off in the tree limb pile.

2) Special curbside collection-bagged leaves only. One pass per neighborhood beginning November 3rd. Please check the newspaper on our website for the collection date for your specific neighborhood.

Also, free leaf bags up to 15 per household - available for pick up on October 15th at the Waste Diversion Center located at 140 Martin St.

SPECIAL CURBSIDE COLLECTION

Public Works Solid Waste Operations helps residents dispose of their leaves at no additional charge. Residents may place

bagged leaves, paper or plastic, curbside during the designated special collection week. Schedules for this annual leaf

collection will be published in the CityLine and the Times-Call.

Leaf bags placed curbside after this special collection will not be collected by the city and the homeowner will be

responsible for the disposal.

The City will make only one pass through every neighborhood street beginning Monday, November 3rd, 2013 so residents

will need to know their schedule and fill leaf bags in advance. To make sure you do not miss the collection, you must

place your bags at the curbside before 7:00 am on the Monday of your scheduled collection week (see below). The

leaf bags will be picked up one day during that collection week. For more information please call our Call Center at

303-651-8416.
