Night Skydive Operations

The City of Longmont would like to take this opportunity to notify citizens of upcoming night time skydiving operations will be taking place. The first operation is this Friday, May 4th, 2012, from one hour past official sunset time until approximately 11:30 p.m.

These night jumps are a requirement in order to receive full certification as required by the United States Parachute Association and the Federal Aviation Administration as a professional skydiver.

More night skydive operations are expected in 2012. Tentative dates in 2012 are:

• June 1st
• July 6th
• Aug 2nd
• Aug 31st
• Sept 28th
• Oct 26th
