JANUARY 27, 2009 - Longmont residents are invited to join Mayor Roger Lange and Mayor Pro Tem Karen Benker for coffee and conversation at Buzz Coffee located at 1130 Francis St., from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2009.
"Coffee with Council" is an open forum that is intended be an interactive and informal gathering where residents and members of the public have an opportunity to speak with elected officials on any topic. At least two City Council members will be in attendance at each gathering. “Coffee with Council” is scheduled for the last Saturday of the month and will be held in local Longmont coffee houses on a rotating basis from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (see calendar).
