Talk Directly with Longmont Council Members
APRIL 23, 2009 - Hear what your neighbors are talking about at the next "Coffee with Council" meeting on Saturday, April 25, 2009, 9 to 10 a.m. at Java Stop located at 301 Main St.
Council Members Gabe Santos and Sean McCoy will host this month's coffee chat. All Longmont residents are invited to talk to Council Members about any topic. Recent meetings have attracted 20 to 25 people - pushing the capacity of local coffee houses.
"Coffee with Council" is an open forum that is intended be an interactive and informal gathering where residents and members of the public have an opportunity to speak with elected officials on any topic. At least two City Council members will be in attendance at each gathering. “Coffee with Council” is scheduled for the last Saturday of the month and will be held in local Longmont coffee houses on a rotating basis from 9 to 10 a.m. (see calendar).
