Water Line Letter Causes Confusion

FEBRUARY 28, 2009 - Longmont residents are receiving a form letter from a company called Home Service with an offer to insure water lines entering their homes. This company is not associated with the City of Longmont and the City is not sponsoring or encouraging this practice.

Home Service is a private company selling a service. However, residents should know it is rare that a water service line needs this type of repair.
