MARCH 30, 2010 - The St. Vrain Greenway trail will be closed west of Hover Street starting Monday, April 5, 2010 to accommodate construction of the Lykins Gulch Drainage Project, including a new pedestrian bridge along the trail. The trail is expected to be closed for approximately 3 months for this work. In addition, the Golden Ponds Nature Area will be closed to the public from Tuesday, April 6 through Friday April 9, 2010 to allow for replacement of Platte River Power Authority power poles. After April 9, Golden Ponds will remain open to the public for the duration of the greenway trail closure.
A detour route between Hover Street and Golden Ponds will be open along 3rd Avenue during the trail closure, including the underpass at Hover Street. If you have any questions, please contact David Hollingsworth at 303-651-8328.
