Civic Center Closed for Solar Skylight Installation

SEPTEMBER 20, 2010 - The Longmont Civic Center, 350 Kimbark St., will be closed to employees and to the public for the installation of a new solar skylight on Saturday and Sunday, September 25 and 26. A large crane will be positioned on Kimbark St. to remove the old skylight and lift the new one into place. The area in front of the Civic Center also will be closed to pedestrian traffic during installation. Construction is not antcipated to disrupt traffic flow to the Longmont public library located next door to the Civic Center.
