Free Landfill Day for Longmont Residents on Saturday

SEPTEMBER 7, 2011 - Longmont residents may take one regular pickup truck size load to the Front Range Landfill located in nearby Erie for free. Longmont residents must show a drivers license with a Longmont address and a copy of the current utility bill in order to avoid being charged. Be sure to cover the load or you may receive a ticket. The landfill is just a short drive from Longmont and it is located at 1830 Weld County Road 5 and the phone number is 303-828-9400. The landfill is open from 6 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
