As part of the City of Longmont's County Line Road Improvement Project, Weld County Road 26 between County Line Road and Weld County Road 3½ will be closed to through traffic starting at 6:00 am on Tuesday, November 8th. Weld County Road 26 is scheduled to re-open by 6:00 pm on Friday, November 11th. Reconstruction of the County Line Road and Weld County Road 26 intersection will occur during the road closure.
Although Weld County Road 26 will be closed to through traffic, local access between County Line Road and Weld County Road 26 will be maintained. Access to the Union Reservoir Recreational Area along with all local access will be maintained via west bound Weld County Road 26 from the Weld County Road 3½ intersection.
A traffic detour route has been designed and will be set-up as indicated on the following map:
