Longmont Recreation Services offers a variety of outdoor program opportunities throughout the year.

Geocaching - Learn how to use a GPS to find geocaches in and around Longmont and discover for yourself how enjoyable this world-wide activity can be!
Tree Climbing – Contracting with Dances with Branches, introductory Tree Climbing lessons for ages 7 years to adult.
The SPOT Outdoor Adventure Camp - for youth ages 12 to 16, a mid-week camp specifically designed with day trips and overnight camping.
Longmont Classic Doubles Grass Volleyball Tournament – Longmont Recreation Services’ Longmont Classic Doubles Grass Volleyball Tournament offers play for both juniors and adults in a one-day format.
Canoe Trips – Longmont Recreation Services contracts to provide a variety of canoe trips over the course of the summer.
Guided Fly Fishing – Contracted ½ day and full day Guided Fly Fishing Trips for individuals 14 years and older.
Hunter Safety Classes – Fall and spring Hunter Safety Classes for individuals seeking a Hunter Education Card.
Kayaking – Indoor pool Open kayak on Sundays. Bi-weekly November and December, every Sunday January through April at Centennial Pool.
