City Council is currently recruiting to fill the following volunteer positions on City advisory boards:
- Art in Public Places
- Four (4) regular member terms ending June 30, 2016
- Board of Adjustment and Appeals
- One (2) regular member term ending June 30, 2016
- Two (2) alternate member terms ending June 30, 2016
- Board of Environmental Affairs
- Three (3) regular member terms ending June 30, 2016
- Cable Trust Board
- Two (2) regular member terms ending June 30, 2016
- One (1) unexpired member term ending June 30, 2014
- Downtown Development Authority*
- Two (2) regular member terms ending June 30, 2017
- Library Advisory Board
- One (1) regular member term ending June 30, 2018
- Longmont Housing Authority
- One (1) regular member term ending June 30, 2018
- Museum Advisory Board
- Three (3) regular member terms ending June 30, 2016
- Planning and Zoning Commission
- One (1) unexpired regular member term ending December 31, 2014
- Transportation Advisory Board
- Two (2) regular member terms ending June 30, 2016
- Water Board
- One (1) regular member term ending June 30, 2018
* Applicants for the Downtown Development Authority must either reside in, be a business lessee, own real property or manage a property within the downtown district.
Applicants must be residents of Longmont for at least one year prior to serving, be registered voters, and be willing to actively serve their community for terms that last from three to five years.
